Why we opened
Don Rice Bar started with a simple idea: a donburi shop that takes the food seriously without taking itself too seriously. Rice made fresh every day, sauces built in-house, and a menu built around the bowls we actually crave — yakiniku, gyu don, katsu curry, and a few things you won’t find everywhere else.
We wanted a place in the neighborhood where you could grab a fast, honest bowl on a weeknight, or settle in for gyoza and a drink with friends on a Friday. Same kitchen, same care, either way.
